What's inside
The anatomy of a curiosity
- The cover. A hardback with a lantern-lit illustration of an ancient, ivy-wrapped tree and the warm glow of a doorway inside it.
- The closure. A leather cord wraps the book and fastens with a wooden bead, with beaded tails left to hang.
- Pockets and slots. Layered pockets and a tree-shaped die-cut slot inside the covers keep cards, notes and keepsakes safe.
- Bookmarks. Illustrated woodland bookmarks, finished with a silky tassel.
- Ephemera cards. Ferns, mossy stones, mushrooms and meadows printed on rounded cards to tuck, stick or share.
- Little details. A foil mushroom, a filigree corner and a twine-tied stamp set to finish it off.
